This is one of my favourite purchases in my new house. The quality is excellent and it feels sturdy but still not too heavy. It doesn’t block out too much light but adds a nice effect to the ceiling. The size was perfect. I didn’t use the cord and electronics, just the light shade. It was easy to do as it all detaches although because my light was old I had to use a rubber ring ‘hole minimiser’ (super cheap on Amazon) to fit it snug.

When first out of the box, the light didn't seem like much but once up, it was a different story as it seemed to be the missing piece from my decorative puzzle and the fact that it is a nice looking ceiling light, became much more apparent once it was installed and turned on. The light fixture looks great in natural light but also when turned on in the evening and it is almost like looking at a different light altogether. The light bulb sits inside the lightshade, which reduces its intensity a bit so do expect this. It is easy to install and it can easily fit in almost any area oh my house, bringing a little rustic touch to the decor. I love the fact that it is made from natural rattan and you can notice different little fabric imperfections which add to the character. A lovely ceiling light which can easily complements any room.

At the time of purchase this had money off so was £39, which is a better price than the normal £59 which I would say is too high. It's a nice looking item which seems good quality and well made. You can see it's been weaved by hand which gives it an authentic feel. Cables and ceiling rose are included and again these aren't just regular cheap ones. Would look good in a conservatory. Nice item if on offer!

Design is very good, I love it, as pictures. But it's so fragile that I found the bottom fabric broken inside the box when I opened it. If anyone wondering: - Yes it will make a halo effect in the cieling - No it will not make a rattan patterned shadow unless you install a high powered bulb and install it close to a wall - The design is very open meaning you can see a lot of gaps and see the insides of the lamp shade but it is by design - I installed 8.5w 806lumen ambient warm LED bulbs If they pay attention to quality control (packing a broken item) this product would have been a top choice for everyone. First I started a return but my electrician was already here and her had installed the top part on the cieling, so I asked my talented wife to repair it with some thread so she sewed the fabric piece back onto the frame (luckily it broke evenly) , although it worked but still looks a bit messy when you pay attention.
